The central idea of my concentration is to unify a variety of different materials as it relates to the female portrait as well as fashion.

Glitter Among the Grit
Drawing with fine point Sharpie and watercolor. Different from anything I have ever done. I saw an image in a magazine of an old woman and decided to use the light box to trace it.
Abigail, I haven't seen this one but I like it. You're right it's definitely different from anything you've done thus far but I think it turned out good. I can still see your style in this and your famous sharpie outlines. I think you did a good job trying something new while still witholding your style. :)
I agree with Becca, I love the use of watercolors in this piece and I love that you used this woman as the subject matter. I like that this turned out to be a piece when it started out as just experimentation.
I really like this because it is different from what you usually do like Becca said, but I love it! Good job on using your color scheme to your advantage.
